    As for respirator selection the gold standard in my opinion is 3M “gel” masks, I think they’re a very pliable silicon. I’m a boilermaker and I spend most of my time in a respirator, if you want to be happy with your purchase get one of those and get the flip latch model, they’re not expensive. The flip latch is like a quick connect lever that’s over the exhalation valve that allows it to go from hanging down below your chin to donned properly on your face in about one second, only the half masks have this feature. If your full face is fogging you may have a bad fitment, unless you’re sweating extremely excessively. Again I work in environments upwards of 50 Celsius and fogging isn’t a huge issue for me although it could be something 3M does with their lenses.

    • @TATVCanada
      @TATVCanada 6 дней назад

      That's interesting; I've heard of different lens coatings for things like fog, but never spoken to someone with real experience. Thanks for sharing your insights. I wouldn't last 10 minutes in 50 degree heat, so good on you, mate.

    • @TATVCanada
      @TATVCanada 9 дней назад

      Because a price point is a relative term referring to an items value in a scale ranging from cheap to expensive. A price is a specific figure derived from a fixed time and place, which varies dramatically. I can describe something as being 'budget-priced' and have it convey meaningful information to people in any country and at any time VS "it costs $400 where I live on the day I checked", which is useless to anyone outside those exact circumstances.

      @@MrNiceKnife Something you can try if you like; get a bit of emery paste (it's like a polishing compound) and put just a very thin little coating on the parts that are stiff.
